"Talk about addressing the source of a problem directly, huh?" Micah says. There's nothing quite like uprooting a weed. "Good job. You and I both know the work's never done… but I think you can take a moment to feel proud."

If the surroundings are any judge, the Traveler is also feeling better. Some things might not be mendable, but it's clear that having ended the Witness entirely has made a huge difference. However the Traveler heals and grows in the future, this one great thorn has been plucked out.

Micah says she's going to be sticking around in the Pale Heart—to learn, to help, to grow for herself. She's come to understand some new things while she's been here and is looking forward to more. She might not be right here all the time, but that's the nature of a Hunter, after all.
