After your adventures in the Pale Heart, Ikora seems nostalgic to be back at her post.

"It feels strange to come back to the Tower," she says. Her tone is bittersweet. "I look over at the ramen counter and half-expect to see Cayde."

"I almost got used to having him back."

She shakes her head to clear her thoughts.

"I want to say that things will be different now… but it seems the only constant in our world is conflict. The next threat to the Vanguard could take any form, and strike at any time."

She catches herself and laughs softly.

"Listen to me… I sound like Zavala," she says. "Time spent with old friends will do that to you."

She smiles. "When the Vanguard needs you, we know you'll be there."
