He is quiet for a moment, caught between grief and guilt. "Our losses are many. The colonists who perished after the Collapse. The settlements that our enemies destroyed. The civilians who were scattered during the Red War." He lifts his head. "Perhaps… Perhaps you can help me honor those losses, and we can move forward into this hopeful future."
